Job Description

Edge Ahead Media is innovating the sports wagering social community and we’re looking for someone who is passionate about sports and experienced in social media content generation, with good knowledge of Italian football and with the capacity to relate gambling odds to expected outcomes for in-game events. As an Italian betting copywriter, you will be comfortable planning daily content output on social media channels, in-line with tried and tested company strategies.

 

You will be expected to make informed betting selections on a daily basis which are justifiable to the social audience you build. You will be comfortable interacting with the social communities during the matches and understand that this means the role requires commitment outside of what would be considered standard working hours.

 

The role will be mostly remote working. However there will be an expectation to be in the office when required.

Key Job Responsibilities

​

• Leading all content generation and output on social media channels for your brand   

• Making informed betting selections from sports data to present to your social community on a daily basis  

• Interacting with your community to retain high engagement levels, both publicly and in private messaging  

• Growing your brand’s following over time by composing innovative ways to boost your brand’s profile 

• Working closely with the design team to ensure all content is created to an expected standard and is easily digestible for when it is presented to your community 

• Tracking your own progress and manage obstacles to achieve your objectives 

• Understanding and remaining informed on the developing Italian betting landscape 

• Educating your community on key offers and features of sports betting operator partners 

 

Basic Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Relevant experience of understanding social media platforms  

• Relevant experience in using sports data to influence decision making  

• Relevant experience in the gambling industry  

• Deep understanding of Italian Football

Preferred Qualifications

​

• Deep understanding of Italian betting markets/odds 

• Familiarity with using sports data/sports odds software to inform betting selections  

• Experience with running social media channels for Italian sports communities

Salary and Benefits  
 

Base salary £35,000 to £50,000 based on experience  

Uncapped commission bonus. On target earnings (OTE) will take annual income to £100,000- £130,000
